Camp Dangie: Day 1

Well today Camp Dangie officially started. Being the dork that I am, I decided to go ahead and make the t-shirts as a joke. They turned out kind of cute and when I walked out with mine on and showed Daniel his, he actually liked it. Next thing I knew, he was changing into the Camp Dangie t-shirt.

So off we went to the Trace for a bike ride and a picnic at the park. We rode a pretty good ways taking in the beautiful sounds of nature and my new bell on my bike. It makes the cutest little "Bring." I love my cruiser and even though I look like the wicked witch of the west riding with my basket...I don't care! Daniel kept telling me "thank you" for taking him and that he was having fun. It's the little things like that, that make me realize this is all worth it.

We got to the park and started to eat lunch and Evan walked into the park. What a great surprise! We all had lunch together and tried to cool down a little from the 90 degree weather.
Then all of sudden I realized the D on Dangie was coming off of Daniel's shirt. Now what kind of cheap person would make such a chinky shirt? Oh yea...that was me and my super "iron on" skills. I am going to try to fix it tonight, but if it doesn't work..we can always look back on our 1 special day when all 2 of us wore our Camp Dangie t-shirts as onlookers thought to themselves "Where is Camp Dangie?"
